Blueberry Consultants is seeking a software tester / QA person for a full time role based at our busy Birmingham HQ.

Blueberry is a successful bespoke software development company working for a range of UK clients. We have an unusually wide expertise and often work on very technical and innovative systems - covering web-based, desktop and mobile software.

The role will comprise all aspects of software testing including creation of test scripts and manual testing of customer facing systems, working with BB project managers to ensure quality of the software we develop.

We are interested in finding a candidate with strong natural testing skills - i.e. the ability to test a system and immediately identify parts which are not high quality, rather than working just from a test script or to a fixed methodology – although the latter will certainly form a significant part of the job. This is a very hands-on role.

We would prefer experience of working in a software development team, but we may consider graduates with strong technical skills and a very strong eye for quality and detail.

The salary offered is £18,000 to £24,000 depending on commercial experience and skills.
